As an Arizona native, Ed started his fire service career in 1992 with Wickenburg Fire Department starting as a firefighter and promoting to engineer and then Fire Chief in
January of 2001.
Chief Temerowski currently serves as Fire Chief and Emergency Operations for the Town of Wickenburg and oversees the operational and administrative aspects of fire service/emergency medical services (EMS) and all-hazard response within the community.
Chief Temerowski continues to contribute to the fire service on a statewide level and has been an active member of the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association since 2005 and currently chairs their training section and is the regional representative for Yavapai County. Additionally, Chief Temerowski is chair of the Yavapai County Fire & EMS Chiefs Association and has been an active member of the Arizona State Fire Training Committee since 2011 where he is currently the vice chair.
Over the years, Chief Temerowski has had the opportunity to serve Arizona and the Southwestern United States fire service in various capacities from training, wildland and structural operations and all-hazard incident management.
Chief Temerowski has served on the Wickenburg 100 Club, Inc. board since 2005 and has served in multiple officer positions including treasurer, vice president and president.
